Tihi Kahuraki Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 2019 to support M¨¡ori students who are entering their first year of undergraduate study at ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵAPP¹ÙÍø and who show strong leadership and engagement in their wh¨¡nau, hap¨±, marae or community.
Value: Up to $19,000 per year to cover on-campus accommodation costs (up to $12,000) and tuition fees (up to $7,000)
Tenure: Three years

Pasifika Excellence Scholarship
This scholarship supports Pasifika students entering their first year of undergraduate study who show strong leadership and engagement in their community.
Value: Up to $19,000 per year to contribute towards on-campus accommodation costs and tuition fees

Vice-Chancellor's Scholarship for Excellence
This scholarship was established in 1998 to assist students of high academic calibre to undertake tertiary study at ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵAPP¹ÙÍø.
Value: $10,000 per year to contribute towards on-campus accommodation costs and tuition fees
Tenure: Three years
Ahuwhenua Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 2018 to support school leaver M¨¡ori students who are entering an undergraduate or subdegree study in the Agricultural, mahik¨¡ kai or organics field at ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵAPP¹ÙÍø.
Value: $5,000

Aoraki Connect Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 2018 to support M¨¡ori and Pasifika students who are following a pathway into undergraduate or sub-degree study at ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵAPP¹ÙÍø from other educational providers. Applicants
must have completed a Level 4 qualification.
Value: $5,000

Fanua Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 2018 to support Pasifika students who are entering into undergraduate or sub-degree study at ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵAPP¹ÙÍø.

M¨¡ori and Pasifika Accommodation Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 2017 to support students who are entering undergraduate or sub-degree study at ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵAPP¹ÙÍø and who show strong leadership potential in their communities.
Value: $5,000 ($2,500 per semester) to be paid directly into the recipient's ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵAPP¹ÙÍø Halls accommodation account.

M¨¡tauraka M¨¡ori Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 2018 to support M¨¡ori students who are entering undergraduate or sub-degree study at ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵAPP¹ÙÍø and who have demonstrated excellence in subjects focused on Te Ao M¨¡ori.

Putaiao Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 2018 to support M¨¡ori students who are entering undergraduate study at ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵAPP¹ÙÍø and who intend to pursue a degree in a Science related field.

T¨¡poi Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 2018 to support M¨¡ori students who are entering undergraduate study at ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵAPP¹ÙÍø and who intend to pursue a degree in the Tourism field.

Future Leaders Scholarship
Leaders of the future will be called upon to solve increasingly complex challenges. A career as a leader requires recognising the changing expectations of business in society, the need to lead in the face of ambiguity, the interconnectedness of different types of relationships.
The ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵAPP¹ÙÍø Future Leader Scholarship programme will prepare you to be ready to step into future leadership roles and face these challenges.
Value: $6000 maximum towards tuition fees
Tenure: One year (with the opportunity to reapply)
Sports Scholarship
²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵAPP¹ÙÍø established the Sports Scholarship programme in 1999. It was the first of its kind in New Zealand and has produced some of the country¡¯s most well- known athletes.This comprehensive sporting programme combines academic study with the extension and development of your sporting ability.
Value: $6000 maximum towards tuition fees
Tenure: One year (with the opportunity to reapply)

- Hockey
- Netball
- Rowing
- Rugby
- Elite level athletes in other sports (eg. athletics, cycling, sailing).

Sir Turi Carroll Centennial Scholarship
One scholarship is available to encourage a M¨¡ori student of good academic calibre, who has also demonstrated leadership potential, to continue their tertiary study at ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵAPP¹ÙÍø.

²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵAPP¹ÙÍø Aoraki Doctoral Scholarship for M¨¡ori
Established in 2020, the scholarships demonstrate our commitment to Kaupapa and Rakahau M¨¡ori, and to supporting M¨¡ori students embarking on a doctoral programme.
Value: Tuition fees plus $28,000 stipend
Tenure: a maximum of three years from the commencement date of the scholarship
