Semester 2 Orientation is a great way to start your Lincoln journey.
Semester 2 Orientation will equip you with the tools and information to find support services, connect with other new students and get to know your faculty before lectures start. Orientation also includes Preparation Week, where you can get help completing your enrolment, sorting your course timetable and finding IT support.
Registrations are required for two compulsory orientation events. Rā Whakawhanaukataka | Orientation Day is a special day full of activities to help you get to know other new students and support services available to you at Lincoln Uni. International Orientation is a good opportunity to meet our International Student Advisors and get important information to help new international students better settle in life and study in New Zealand and at Lincoln Uni.

Preparation Week is the perfect time for both new and returning students to get help with enrolment, course advice, timetable scheduling as well as finding your way around campus with our guided tours before lectures start. Whānau are welcome to come along to support you and help you to have a smooth start to your Lincoln journey. Bring a laptop if you have one already for enrolment and course timetable support.

A great opportunity for international students to meet our international support staff and connect with other new international students. You can also get important information about insurance, driving and many other useful tips to help you better settle into your life in New Zealand.

It is a good opportunity to meet academic staff, learn important details about your master’s programme, and meet other students.
Who: All new Master of Science in Food Innovation students and your friends and family
The MAC orientation will provide an opportunity to meet academic staff, tour the learning spaces used for the Master of Applied Computing as well as an explaining of the teaching and learning methods, support available and how to get the most out of the programme.
Come and meet Dot to get help from the staff who can support your enrolment and start at Lincoln Uni.
A social event to learn more about your exchange programme and meet your course advisors. This is a great opportunity to ask questions about your timetable, course content, and discover which courses best suit your academic goals.
You'll also get the chance to connect with fellow exchange students. Light refreshments will be provided.
If you are a Study Abroad and Exchange student, this?compulsory?session allows you to meet the Study Abroad coordinator, organise your insurance, complete your enrolment, get useful information about the programme and ask questions in person.

This is for students who study on campus but cannot attend LU Official Welcome on the Rā Whakawhanaukataka | Orientation Day in person. If you are studying an online programme, your orientation is part of your online study and can be found on your Akoraka | Learn (My courses). You are also welcome to join our orientations on campus if you are nearby.
