Statement on President Donald Trump's campus free speech announcement at CPAC
FIRE is aware that President Donald Trump to an audience at the Conservative Political Action Conference today that he intends to sign an executive order that would require colleges receiving federal funding to protect free speech on their campuses. While we are glad that this important national issue has the President's attention, we do not currently have any more information on the details of the executive order. We are looking forward to learning more about this initiative in the coming days.
